Lewis & Clark's Corp of Discovery mapped the way west from St. Louis Missouri to the Pacific Ocean in 1805-06. We are retracing their route backwards by bicycle some two hundred years later to discover people's views toward stewardship of this vast and beautiful land. Along the way we will pray for hearts to be restored with awe and wonder for the Creator who made it all, and for restoration of the land. Come discover with us!

On the Flathead
My first night was on The Flathead Reservation, formed in 1855 for Salish, Pend d Orielle and Kootnai tribes. In 1910, tribal lands were opened to settlers by the US government, so today there is a mix of whites and native peoples on the land. I had the privilege of meeting a few people there to make a difference in people's lives. The Mitchells started pastoring a local church here last year. They put on a weekly evening program with the help of their co-worker Chloe for about 30-40 kids, with dinner, games and a short Bible study. The church has a nice indoor gym and lots of space for lots of fun. Thanks for your hospitality and all you are doing you guys!
