As quickly as they appeared, they left! Places to go, things to do, people to see...life called Anna & Jennifer back home. After straddling a trickle that becomes the Missouri together and providing me with a re-supply, they jokingly dumped my stuff by the side of the road and drove off in a cloud of dust.
I tarried on the mountain a little longer. It was such a magnificent day! It felt like a hole in the heavens opened up for a little while and shone down on the top of the mountain. Another 30+ miles of riding awaited, so I reluctantly headed my wheels down the eastern side.
