Tim & I rode about 142 miles in three days from the coast to Portland in wonderful weather, primarily on Hwy 30. We passed through beautiful forest and clear cuts; busy tourist spots and quiet little towns; Wolf Bay wetlands preserved for the Twilight eagles; hectic highways & bridges; a fragrant rose garden in Portland.
If you like, join us by Giving your own echo to our prayers: We prayed for integrity & good stewardship among government & business, particularly for lumber & power industries as we pedaled by mills & plants & under power lines. We blessed our road system, highways & emergency workers . We celebrated the architecture of St John's bridge . We thanked God for the abundance, beauty & design of nature. We asked for fruitfulness of the soils and reproduction of the bird populations. What would you thank & ask God for on your land?
