Into Columbia River Gorge

After saying good bye to Tim & taking a rest day with a College friend & her family, it was off through Troutdale into the river gorge. Water, water everywhere! Lush green forest. Narrow winding road. Waterfalls. Beautiful vistas.

Beautiful people. As my spirit soared with the surrounding beauty, prayers turned toward people met at scenic overlooks gas stations or rest stops & asking for restoration for various aspects of brokenness in their lives. Weariness from a long hard season in life, broken personal identity, searching for spirituality, lack of education, desire for faith and a home church, physical health, livelihood lost. It is amazing to see a God big enough to create the stars intersect individual lives on a street corner to bring about His purpose: to seek and to save that which has been lost.

Praying for mild weather and many divine appointments, which sounds like your journey is full of already. I thank God for the incredible sunrise & sunsets on Maui this week, a joy to begin the day & a delight at the end of the day. Many hugs & prayers,
