Jordan Community Bible church opened their doors for us to stay overnight and it proved a huge blessing with the evening arrival of reinforcements from California. Enter Jana, Celeste, and her daughter Hannah from Shoreline Calvary Chapel! Woohoo! Talk about showing love for your friends; they drove some 1600 miles to join us!
Lewis & Clark's Corp of Discovery mapped the way west from St. Louis Missouri to the Pacific Ocean in 1805-06. We are retracing their route backwards by bicycle some two hundred years later to discover people's views toward stewardship of this vast and beautiful land. Along the way we will pray for hearts to be restored with awe and wonder for the Creator who made it all, and for restoration of the land. Come discover with us!

Jordan
Another day with tailwinds, we sailed another 50 miles to Jordan, County seat. Wide open spaces, awesome. Beauty. Large in land, sparse in population, about 1200 people in the entire county. I was happy to have company on this stretch of road! I had thought this part of the journey would be grueling with super hot days, parched and dusty land. Could have been, but not this year. It's still green, extra rain this summer (not to mention the hail from the other day.
