Grass Range

I forgot to mention that when we left Fort Benton, we left the Missouri River for a long while. There are no roads running alongside the river in these parts, and a little further east we have been warned away because of the Bakken Oil field development and associated large truck traffic on the narrow roads. We'll rejoin river country later on.  So for now, it's through the big ranch country of eastern Montana.

We attended church on Sunday at the Community Christian Fellowship church in Grass Range. We spent two nights at the church and had a true sabbath rest. It was wonderful and much needed.  Pastor Bill and his wife Delci have a fun loving and dedicated flock. Their motto is Relentless Daily Living, and with Pastor Bill's seemingly endless exuberance and humor, I'm sure they do well at going after that unusual vision.  After the service, lunch and Bible study time, fifteen people went to deliver communion to a member who'd been in a car accident; planning was underway to help a family move out of their house near the church.
