Circle

Greg fixed his chain and was able to ride with us to Circle and he joined right in with the fun and frolick on the road.

Gently rolling hills and lots of hay fields kept us playing a game of cat and mouse, with Celeste loving to barrel downhill and then Hannah calmly passing by up the other side as she got into the rhythm of her tunes.  Jana did an amazing job of setting up a roadside deli for us hungry pedaling folk...the stomach seems to be bottomless pit after a few weeks on the road. She aimed to get us well fed and strong for the long haul. We felt amazingly spoiled, their purpose to encourage and nurture as well as pray with us an incredible success.

Town of Circle houses the county museum, which has lots of vintage farm equipment and tells the story of cattle ranching and railroad for the past hundred years.  Some 600 people still call this home, though the old abandoned buildings in the middle of town testify to days of a much larger population.
